Founder of Jinemed
For more than four decades, Professor Teksen Camlibel has dedicated his career to advancing women's health, reproductive medicine, and gynecologic surgery. His professional journey reflects a lifelong commitment to scientific excellence, medical education, and compassionate patient care.
Born in Turkiye, Professor Camlibel graduated from Cerrahpasa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University, before continuing his postgraduate medical training in the United States. During nearly a decade of advanced education and clinical practice, he trained at internationally respected institutions, including Johns Hopkins Hospital, the Medical College of Ohio, and Albany Medical College, where he completed advanced fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology.
These years shaped not only his surgical expertise but also his vision of how modern medicine should be practiced. He experienced firsthand the value of multidisciplinary teamwork, academic research, and evidence-based clinical care, principles that would later become the foundation of Jinemed.
Upon returning to Turkiye, Professor Camlibel combined his international experience with academic leadership, contributing to the development of modern obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine. In 1989, he founded Jinemed, establishing an institution designed to integrate fertility treatment, gynecologic surgery, embryology, genetics, and women's healthcare within a single multidisciplinary framework.
Throughout his career, Professor Camlibel has remained committed to the belief that reproductive medicine extends beyond technology alone. He has consistently emphasized the importance of clinical judgment, ethical medical practice, scientific research, and individualized patient care.
Over the years, his work has included clinical practice, academic teaching, scientific publications, conference participation, and collaboration with physicians and researchers both in Turkiye and internationally. His contributions have helped shape Jinemed into an institution recognized for its commitment to quality, education, and continuous innovation.
Today, Professor Teksen Camlibel continues to contribute to the field of reproductive medicine while supporting the ongoing development of Jinemed.
